CALVARY WOMEN
“The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands.” Proverbs 14:1
Women by nature are people who influence. Whether it be our husbands, our children, our friends or our culture, we as women have a sphere of influence, a "house”, if you will, that we can either build up or tear down.
Our desire is to encourage women to be wise stewards of the manifold grace of God given to each one in Christ Jesus. As women who have felt His touch, accepted His gift of salvation and committed our lives to following Jesus, we have all received gifts, talents and abilities to edify His body which is the church among us.
Our passion is to encourage women to pursue Christ wholeheartedly, just like the faithful women who found themselves at the foot of His cross on the hill called Calvary over 2000 years ago. We desire to help women identify the specific purpose and place He has for them individually and uniquely in His Kingdom. By doing this we believe that she will be most fulfilled, for she will be doing that for which we were created.
We invite you to look over the current opportunities to get involved at Calvary Tucson. Pray to find your place. Then run. Run with the vision that God has put in your heart. Serve passionately, fully and completely! What a joy to be used by the Master!
