MARCIA GERARDO
Church Secretary

Marcia Gerardo has been on staff at Calvary Tucson since 1991. She is secretary to Pastor Robert Furrow and assists the other pastors in the church office. Her duties include responding to phone calls, setting appointments, creating the church bulletin, scheduling dedications, maintaining tithing records and many other tasks.

Marcia became a Christian at the age of 21. She says, “From the time I was five years old, I always had a hunger in my heart to know God.” After years of visiting different kinds of churches and asking people what they believed, she met a friend, who was not a Christian, who told her about being born-again. The following day, while alone in her bedroom, she got on her knees and asked God to make Himself real to her and come into her heart. Marcia’s life was forever changed with new desires and she found the answer to what she was seeking, knowing God in a personal way.
