ANDERS
HITCHCOCK
Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Anders Hitchcock is the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for Calvary Tucson. Anders has worked
in various aspects of facilities maintenance and renovations for
more than 20 years and has been on staff at Calvary Tucson since 1994. He studied Religious Studies and Political Science at the
University of Arizona where he met Sharon, his wife. Anders and Sharon have two daughters, Naomi and Rebecca.
In 1977, at the end of the ”Jesus movement," Anders heard the Gospel of salvation in Salem, Ohio and made a decision to follow Jesus as Lord of his life. Though many years of struggle and disobedience were to follow, Gods grace and mercy prevailed (as well as a good wife) and his passion is now more than ever to follow Jesus in deed and in truth, as well as teaching others the wonders of Gods free gift of liberation, grace and eternal life. By the Grace is his daily motto
(Rom. 5:1-2).
Anders tasks in maintenance vary and include, among many things, the oversight of housekeeping and landscaping, and making repairs. He also coordinates repair and renovation projects, Little of which, he says, Would be possible without the daily grace of God, prayers, and the hard work of faithful maintenance staff and volunteers who give their time and talents to get the job done. There are many needs on a daily and weekly basis, so anyone who wants to volunteer
as a part of Calvary Maintenance is encouraged to call the shop. You can also leave a message or drop a note in an agape box and someone will get back to you ASAP. The shop number is 520-807-2364.
